I’m writing this as my youngest dog (12 years old) sits on my feet, squeaking and ripping at her Lambchop toy while her mother (14 years) snores gently a foot away. It’s a lovely scene—so heartwarming my insides need an oven mitt to handle it. For the past two days, I’ve savored moments like this one. The inspiration to look at the world with fresh eyes came from you.
Trash Panda Feminism surpassed 100 subscribers this week. It took just over 2.5 years to get to this point. For a niche publication run by an exhausted disabled person, that’s not bad at all. A grin has not left my face since I got the notification we reached 100. And it’s all thanks to your support. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
This is just the beginning for Trash Panda Feminism. Things are slow because I’m in college and I’m committed to my education, but I have big dreams for this publication. I figure right now is my time to learn and prepare so that as soon as I have my degree in hand I can refocus my attention here.

Oh, I also recently discovered that the term for a group of raccoons is a “gaze”. I love the wordplay I can make with this unique word, and so, with your blessing, I’d like to start calling you “my gaze” or “the gaze”.
